21 Park Run Challenge

On Saturday 20th September, Dylan’s dad Mike ran 21 different Park Run courses in just over 21 hours as part of our 21st Birthday Challenge year.

Mike started his run at 2:45am in Leicester, running the Braunstone, Victoria Park, Abbey Park and Watermead courses before heading up to Beacon Hill and Dishley, nr Loughborough, and on to Clifton before the Rushcliffe run at 9am. He was joined by many other runners at Rushcliffe and at courses around Nottingham during the day: Forest Rec, Colwick, Gedling, Bestwood, Wollaton and Beeston, before heading to Long Eaton where he also had great support from local runners. In the evening he ran at Shipley before the rain came down heavily for the home stretch of Brierly Forest, Mansfield, Vicar Water and Sherwood Pines courses. The challenge finished just after midnight at Clumber Park.
